Daycare
The desire of Lakeside Daycare & Preschool is to meet the
need of the total child. Included in those needs are physical,
emotional, social, mental, and spiritual development. |
Physical
Children need the opportunity to grow, develop muscles, and play
in a clean, safe, child - centered environment.
Emotional / Social
We encourage independence in decision making and acceptance of
consequences when choices are poor. Children need well defined limits
so they will feel secure and can learn how to control themselves
in group experiences.
Mental
At Lakeside we provide a variety of learning opportunities. Many
of these opportunities are built into play so that learning becomes
fun. A child is allowed to learn at his or her own rate of maturation.
In this way, a child enjoys learning and pushes ahead.
Spiritual
Our goal is to provide a loving atmosphere where God's love and
care are freely shared. Pre - schoolers need to experience the wonder
and love of God's Word.
The Day Care is a ministry of Lakeside Baptist Church for the purpose
of providing a Christian environment where children can receive
developmental training between the hours of 6:30 am - 6:00 pm Monday
