Mission:

Sold Out Student Ministries exists to REACH young people with the Gospel of Jesus Christ, TEACH them to walk with Him and TRAIN them to carry out the great commission in their own world.

Sections of Student Ministry

College/Career The college and career group meets for a home Bible study on Tuesday nights, and on Sunday morning in the Library for Sunday school. With regular activities and ministry opportunities, the college/career group has become an exciting place for young adults to grow in their relationship with Christ.

Sr.High The Sr. High (9-12 Grades) participate in various home group Bible studies on Wednesday nights. Through large group teaching and small group accountability, leaders are able to personally invest in the senior high teens as they mature in their faith.

Jr. High On Wednesday nights our Jr. High (7th/8th Grades) meet for Word of Life clubs. Here our students learn the healthy habits of a believer. They learn the Word of God together and have leaders who help them to develop good habits in their life which will deepen their personal relationship with Christ

Bridge 56 (5th/6th Grades) takes place on Sunday evenings at 6:00. This time of fun, teaching, and music helps transition youth from children's ministry into student ministry.

Fall Retreat
Our fall retreat is a time to help our students deepen their relationship with Christ and with each other. Unity amoung the believers is a key theme that runs through the New Testament and learning how to love each other helps to create and environment where our friends can connect to Christ. We have a lot of fun mixed with excellent teaching and times to focus on where Christ is in our lives.

EQUIP Equip is a Training weekend for our Jr High students that teaches them the
importance of Peer Care and Peer Share. Peer care helps students to learn how to value others and help them in their relationship with God. Peer Share helps students learn how to reach their peers for Christ.

Summer Missions
In 2008 we will be doing 3 trips.

Jr. High will be hosting a day camp for local children at Ward Haven campground. Each day they will teach and love on 40 - 50 young children. Helping them to learn how much God loves them in Jesus Christ.

Sr. High will be going to Toronto, Canada to learn about loving God and loving others. They will go through training each day before going into the city to serve the community with the love of God.

Sr. High and some of our college students will be going to the Domincan Republic to continue our work with our missionaries Mike and Anna Doering, and Grace and Truth Baptist Church in Santo Domingo.

Spring Retreat The spring retreat for senior high consists of Biblical teaching and connecting with God. Used as a successful tool for reaching unsaved friends, the spring retreat promises a weekend of fun and spiritual growth in the setting of Gatlinburg, Tennessee.
