Lakeside Sunday School Ministry

To involve every church member in a class for Bible Study and Fellowship, we offer small groups every Sunday morning at the church from 9:30 to 10:15 for all age groups and life-stages.

Mixed Adult Sunday School Classes

Bridge Builders -- Pastor Carl Goodman (Room 203) Current study is the Gospel of Mark with highlights from the land of Israel. Upcoming fall series will deal with Bible Prophecy.

Everyday Life (eLife) -- Brian Schellenberger (Room 216) This "non-demographic" Sunday School class helps classmembers "Put the Eternal in Everyday Life!" Current study is about Jesus from Matthew.

Food For the Soul -- Ben Sutphin (Room 202)
Current study is “Case for Christ.” This is an apologetic look at who Christ is and why we believe He is God. Based on the book by Lee Strobel.

Open Door Bible Class -- Steve Johnson (Cafeteria) Currently study is the book of Philippians. Come and discover where our joy comes from by studying verse by verse through this book.

New Beginnings - Jim Harpe (Worship Center) Fall series is a study of “God’s Plan for the Ages”, focusing on His “Grace & Mercy” in His desire to have a relationship with man, from the creation to the eternal kingdom.

Targeted Adult Sunday School Classes

Young Couples -- Mike Riley (Room 201) Current study is "Worship: That Things We Do" - a video series by Louie Giglio.

Ladies -- Debbie Poff (Conference Room)

Foundations -- Carlan Myers (Room 205) Focused for young married couples; current study is “Biblical Life Lessons”

Young Singles -- Dan Day (Conference Room) This class is geared for singles 23-35. Topical studies offered with small group interaction.

Student Ministry Sunday School Classes

11th/12th Grade -- Todd Harrison (Room 213) Current study in the book of Acts with a supplement study entitled “Answering the Objections of Atheists, Agnostics and Skeptics.

9th/10th Grade -- Mark and Lisa Strother (Room 217) Our class theme is the CIA theme (Christ In Action), promoting the development of “operatives” for Christ, in spiritual warfare, who strive to do their own critical thinking and to always know why they believe what they believe. Current study is an indepth look at the book of Genesis.
