Our Staff
Our staff is comprised of many different people. Here are the four pastors and office staff of Lakeside.

Pastor Art began his ministry at Lakeside in February of 1978 as the director of music. Later he assumed associate pastor duties along with the music responsibility. In November 1990 he became pastor. Originally planning to be a biochemist, he attended the University of Alabama in Birmingham. After his call to ministry, he completed his Biblical studies at Tennessee Temple University. His wife Sharron has faithfully stood by his side during many changes in ministry responsibilities. His favorite verses are Prov. 3:5-6, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him and He will make your paths straight."
Carl, a native of North Carolina, has been on staff since 1996. Carl received a Bachelor of Science in Christian Ministries from Tennessee Temple University, a Master of Religious Education from Temple Baptist Theological Seminary. He has also received advanced training through Sonlife Youth and Church Ministies. Carl and his wife, Karen have five children, Leslie, Jack, Kayla, Micah, Nathaniel. In his spare time, Carl enjoys time with his family, yardwork and messing around with computers.
Gregg joined our staff in the fall of 2002. Gregg received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sacred Music and Master of Arts Degree in Piano Performance from Pensacola Christian College in Florida. In his spare time, Gregg enjoys playing tennis and volleyball. He also teaches part-time in the Center for Worship for Liberty University. His wife, Jessica, serves in the Student Ministry working with the senior high. Gregg's life verse is Philippians 1:6, "Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ."
Tom began his ministry at Lakeside in September of 1998 as a lay person in charge of the youth ministry. He spent one year helping organize and lead the ministry before coming on staff as the Youth Pastor in October 1999. Tom answered God's call to ministry after being in the business world for over 10 years during which time he volunteered in 3 different churches working with teens. Tom enjoys the wife of his youth Debbie and their three children Wesley, Nicholas and Victoria. He also loves to play golf, basketball and goes hunting in his free time. He is an avid Pittsburg Steelers fan and loves hanging out with teens and youth workers especially in a coffee shop. He would also enjoy hanging out with you in a coffee shop, any coffee shop.
